"Two novel methods for determination of 2-EHN in diesel fuel have been developed and validated. The first one is HS-GC/MS with negative chemical ionisation and the second method is MDGC/MS with electron ionisation. By comparing to the normalised method both of the novel approaches could reduce the sample preparation step only to the internal standard addition. Because of this they are faster, friendly and more robust.
