"Practical application of single-drop microextraction method is documented. This was realised in direct immersion mode (DI-SDME) for analysis of the essential oils components in soft drinks. There were 10 samples of herbal tea and 5 ice teas analysed. The results were compared with the values obtained by a hydrodistillation method. The target essential oils components were analysed by gas chromatography with flame-ionization detection.
