"Rheological Properties of Polymer Components for Hot Melts"@en . "Praha" . "In this contribution, results of rheological properties measurements of thermoplastic polymer components and compositions are presented. The steady shear and dynamic properties of the samples were measured using a Haake MARS rheometer in the temperature range of 120-180?C. Thermoplastic polymers indicate the different degree of pseudoplastic behaviour and some from them indicate the tixotropic behaviour. Viscosity, degree of pseudoplasticity and tixotrophy decrease with increasing value of the temperature and the MFI. Oscillation tests show the loss modul prevails over the storage modul at low value of frequency. With increasing value of frequency, the storage modul increases faster than the loss module.
