The detonation velocity, D, of all prepd. mixts. was measured. Their thermal stability was detd. using DTA and approx. relationships between the peaks of exothermic decompn. and their D values were found. The detonation parameters were also calcd. by Kamlet and Jacobs method for all the mixts. in addn. to CHEETAH and EXPLO5 codes for the mixts. based on the C4 matrix. From the measured D values and the calcd. detonation parameters, it is obvious that the detonation parameters of BCHMX-C4 are very close to HMX-C4 and better than those of RDX-C4."@en .
