Various types of rheology tests were performed on Zeolite A-water dispersions using a Haake RheoStress RS-150 rheometer. Typical shear rates in the measurements varied in the range between 10?2 to 300 s?1. The low shear rate behaviour was found to be quite different from the high shear rate behaviour for the concentrated dispersions, with a plateau value at low shear rates indicating the appearance of a yield stress. Long term sedimentation test were also performed in which the interfaces between slurry or clear water and dispersion were recorded with settling time.
