"In this study, three types (Toray TR60, ESNA1, Desal 5 DK) of nanofiltration membranes were tested to evaluate optimal operating conditions for flux values and salt rejection in reactive dye/salt mixtures separations. Effects of pressure and feed composition were investigated. Experiments showed that feed composition had a significant effect on flux values and Donnan effect had a significant effect on salt rejection. For every membrane was made three desalination experiments with same concentration, but with different concentration dye in the feed. Main purpose of diafiltration experiments was measured dependence of amount of eliminated salt and concentration of the salt in feed on time. These experiments had shown significant effect of dye concentration on salt elimination. The higher concentration of the dye in the feed means the faster time of desalination, because the Donnan potential in this case is bigger then in lower concentration of dye in the feed.
