"The bismuth pigments containing rare earth elements represent special inorganic pigments that can be used for colouring of plastics, glazes or building materials. This work is dealing with finding of the best reaction conditions and the usage of these pigments. There were prepared the series of the pigments with increasing content of lanthanoids, namely Y, Er and Ho. The pigments were applied into organic matrix and their colour properties were measured in visible region of light (400-700 nm).
