"In our work we focused on a set of affordable halogens: F, Cl, Br and I. DP-LIBS analysis of model samples containing these elements was done. Two orthogonal DP-LIBS configurations were used and the systems were compared. One system consists of two Nd: YAG lasers emitting the primary beam at 532 nm and the secondary beam at 1064 (or 532) nm. The ablation is performed in an enclosed chamber which can be also pumped and operated at a low pressure. The other system employs two Nd: YAG lasers too. The first one is operated at 266 nm and the second one at 1064 nm. The first system uses comparable laser energies in the order of several tens of mJ. In contrast to the first system the energy difference between the lasers of the second system is nearly one order of magnitude (10 \u2013 20 mJ first and over 100 mJ second one). Also detection systems are substantially different. The first system uses an echelle and the second one uses a Czerny-Turner spectrograph. The both systems have ICCD detectors." . .
