"The aim of this paper is to analyse the structure of Physical Education lessons with regard to modes of classroom organisation and lesson phases. The paper is based on analysis video recordings of 58 Physical Education lessons that were collected within the framework of the CPV Video Study of Physical Education project during the 2006/07 school year. Methodological issues of designing systems of categories are presented. Such system of categories were sought that would enable comparative inter-subject analyses and at the same time were perceived as acceptable by Physical Education didactics experts. Towards the end of the paper, dilemmas are discussed that are encountered by researchers who choose to operate on the boarders between general didactics and field didactics."@en . .
