"The paper deals with the requirements of Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education in the cross-curricular theme in the Media Education and contemporary educational practice of Czech language teachers. The article summarizes partial results of research, which was focused on the realization of this cross-curricular theme in the Media Education. There was presented the research problem, summarized results of research were presented and analysed fulfilment of aims and assessment of hypothesis. The research brought findings in the incorporation of cross-section theme of Media Education by teachers of Czech language and literature on the upper elementary schools. The paper analyzes the use of thematic topics of the Media Education by Czech language and literature teachers in detail. It was found out that teachers of Czech language and literature implement receptive thematic topics to the same degree as productive thematic topics of cross-section theme of Media Education."@en .
