"Amounts of metallothionein (MT) in animal organisms are adherent to presence of heavy metals, which are bounded by MT. Connection between MT amounts and appearing of tumour disease is also considered. MT belongs to intracellular, low-molecular, cysteine-rich proteins of molecular weight 6 -- 10 kDa. We concerned with MT determination by chronopotenciometric stripping analysis (CPSA) in this work. Catalytic hydrogen electrodeposition is able to use for peptide and proteins determination (peak H). We used borate buffer at pH = 8 and time of accumulation 120 s for MT determination. We obtained typical concentration dependence in course of Langmuir isotherm by CPSA. Dependence was divided into two linear parts (0.6 -- 10 fmol in 5 ml drop) y = 1954.5x + 38600; R2 = 0.9926 and (10 -- 320 amol in 5 ml drop) y = 54.884x + 18567; R2 = 0.9937. Detection limit (3S/N) of MT was 11 zmol. In addition, an influence of human urine and human blood serum on catalytic signal was studied. Detection limit was about 350 f"@en .
