"In peripheral nerves surgery an autogenous nerve segment obtained mainly from autologous sural nerve is commonly used for the reconstruction of a gap distance. Grafts harvested from cutaneous nerves are not always sufficient enough to bridge the gap in case of complicated injuries. For this purpose, various kinds of experiments have been made. Recently the value of immunosupression together with using of the acellular grafts has been emphasized to reduce the immune reaction. The most frequently allogeneic grafts has been used to solve this problem. In our study acellular autogenous nervous and muscular grafts with basal lamina preserved, and artificial grafts from polyuretan, coated or uncoated with collagen, were constructed. The results were evaluated by means of behavioral, electrophysiological, immunohistochemical, light and electronmicroscopical methods." . "760836" . . . "7th Congress IFSSH" . .
