It focuses on forms of complementations they take. These can be typical, related to the source verbs, or special, without any relationship with forms of participants of the verbs related. We present an overview of special shifts in valency. Special forms of participants have an impact for syntactic behaviour of the noun and for its meaning. We argue that it is not always a shift of the meaning but sometimes only a slight nuance. Such nouns with special forms of participants require creating a new valency frame; they represent a separate category on the boundary between syntactic and lexical derivation."@en . .
