"The influence of the number of ECAP passes by route BC on both grain size and mechanical properties of IF steel has been investigated by means of transmission electron microscopy (TEM), electron back-scattering diffraction (EBSD) and microhardness testing. It has been found, that the grain size decreases with increasing number of passes. Simultaneously, the microhardness has been increased. The evolution of microstructure with increasing strain imposed by ECAP, in particular the grain fragmentation and the formation of high-angle boundaries has been also examined."@en .
