"The project-based learning built on the principles IBSE (inquiry based science education) is increasingly developing activation method in science education. Here is presented a miniproject where basic elements for active learning are applied. Ahead of the pupils was mixed a cocktail of commonly known foods (water, salt, oil and crushed coffee beans). After that pupils were discussing the phenomenon of bartending and the origin of the word cocktail, because they were motivated videos with barman show. Teacher outlined the problem to them - everyone can mix raw ingredients, but your task is to break them back to the starting materials! Pupils had a fully equipped school chemistry lab (under the supervision of a teacher) and their task was to plan, implement, document (photograph) and evaluate research activities.
