"Museum as an institution is defined above all by exhibiting objects. This fact is generally recognized, but it hasn't acquired much attention in the specific context of museums. On the other hand it has been more that sufficiently examined by philosophical approaches of late 20th century. The submitted article offers interpretation framework for museology on the basis of Jacques Derrida's deconstruction, specifically utilizing the approaches of Derrida's analysis of righteousness in connection with museum's affinity to making history. Since one can define two distinct methods of making expositions and name them as phenomenological and structuralist approaches to it, the article examines arguments of Derrida's lessons on phenomenology and structuralism as well, seeking the reference frame for a specific line of connection between these areas in the fact of exposition."@en .
