The Czech Metrology Institute participates primarily on the characterization of miniature brachytherapy X-ray tubes. One of the goals of the present research is to model two such tubes: INTRABEAM\u00AE (Carl Zeiss, Germany) and AXXENT\u00AE (XOFT, USA). The paper describes the models and their utilization for Monte Carlo simulations of radial dose functions, anisotropy functions, and photon spectral fluence distributions in air and in phantoms made of water and two radiochromic gels.
