"Susceptibility in vitro and trends of resistance to antimicrobials were determined by dilution micromethod in collection of 226 Pasteurella mulocida isolates, 119 Mannheimia haemolytica isolates and 160 Escherichia coli isolates from clinical cases of cattle diseases in the Czech Republic from 2007 to 2011. High susceptibility of cattle respiratory pathogens against antimicrobials was determined with the exception of moderate prevalence of P. multocida resistant to tetracycline (14.6) and high prevalence of M. haemolytica resistant to tetracycline (34.5 ). In addition, moderate prevalence of isolates resistant to ampicillin was also detected for M. haemolytica (15.1). In contrast to respiratory pathogens, low susceptibility of E. coli against antimicrobials was determined with very high or high prevalence of isolates resistant to tetracycline (61.9), ampicillin (48.1), amoxicillin/clavulanic acid (31.3) and trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazol (22.5). In trends of resistance, there was determined increase of intermediate and resistant isolates to fluoroquinolones for E. coli (flumequine, enrofloxacin) to moderate level. On the other hand, decrease from high to moderate level of resistance was detected to tetracycline for P. multocida and to amoxicillin/clavulanic acid for E. coli in 2011."@en . . "11"^^ .
