The samples originated from three localities in the Czech Republic were cellected - Vysocina, Ostravsko and Praha. From bark and phloem tissues and solidified oozes Pselldomonas bacteria were isolated predominantly. The Biolog system has identified a number of isolates as Pseudomonas bacteria (61%), the most frequently isolated bacterium appears to be Pseudomonas margina/is (46%). The other pseudomonas isolates reached low level of similarity index. A1together 18% ofbacterial isolates were identified as Pantoea agglomerans.
