"The paper presents possibilities of drainage systems identification by means of remote sensing and geographical information systems tools. Within the framework of remote sensing (satellite, aerial orthophotomaps) has been proved technology of unmanned aerial vehicles. The main advantages of UAV are very high nominal resolution (1cm/px image resolution), targeted and repeated flights in demanded conditions and examined criterions with different type of sensors (multispectral, thermal camera etc.), possibility of image view and processed orthophoto mosaic just at the point of area etc. Digital geographical data collected by means of UAV are stored by means of GIS tools in the form of hierarchic geodatabases under the name of their type and analyses. Identified drainage systems have been vectorized into the map themes and they have been used as an input data for resulting analyses and classification of the data model."@en . . .
