"Proch\u00E1zka, Martin" . . "The article deals with the possibility of using linseed stem for solid biofuels production. Examined were following varieties: Biltstar, Lola, Amon and Flanders. Due to the high content of solid fiber the stems needed to be disintegrated at the cutting shredder, then was the actual briquettes production possible. Parameters of the production were measured and then final products were compared according to their basic properties. Due to the unsatisfactory results of the mechanical durability of the produced briquettes, experimental mixtures of linseed varieties and wood shavings in a 1:1 ratio were created.
