The controlled traffic farming systems principle will enable to concentrate the traffic trajectories in such way to protect effectively the production area against the unfavourable soil compaction. Monitoring of machines passages on the surveyed field showed high load of the soil by heavy agricultural machines and other traffic crossing the field. The achieved accuracy related to the machines working width keeping during GPS navigation in direction of straight line and within the chosen curve indicates effectivity of the new navigation systems in soil cultivation systems.
