Selenomethionine (SM) or selenite (SS) was used as a dietary supplement of 0.3 mg selenium (Se) in experimental treatments. Vitamin E (E) was added simultaneously in graded amount from 0 to 625 mg/kg. Selenium supplement, especially SM, increased Se concentration in egg yolk and albumen. Linear growth of E in accordance with its dietary content was recorded in eggs. Selenomethionine significantly increased E in yolk.
