The selection of pigs was based on slaughter weight, sex, crossbred combination and backfat thickness. All the chosen pigs were measured with the four grading metods (HGP, IS-D-05, IS-D-15, ZP). After 24 hours, all the carcasses were disected and the lean meat content was determined for each carcass. The correlations between the lean meat content predicted by the grading methods and the results from the detailed disection were calculated. The correlation coefficient 0.82 was determined for IS-D-15 and the two-point metod while it was 0.80 for IS-D-05.
