"The objective of this paper was to study the effects of locality, fertilizer treatments, and year on the grain yield of winter wheat and its baking quality. Under typical weather conditions in Central Europe, the combination of mineral fertilizers with farmyard manure achieved the highest grain yields, CP content, DE, and values of ZST. In an extremely dry season like 2012, the positive response of grain yield to fertilizer application substantially decreased or completely disappeared compared to the years 2011 and 2013, with adequate water supply. When compared to the control treatment, the effect of farmyard manure application was negligible as manure was applied two years before the sowing of wheat. With a predicted increase in water deficiency and incoming climate instability, wheat must be planted on different soil types and in different altitudes to ensure stable grain yields in the future."@en .
