"In the years 2003-2012 it was monitored at two different sites the effect of nitrogen fertilization on the yield of Miscanthus x giganteus. The following doses of nitrogen were applied in field trials: 0, 50, 100, 150 kg/ha. Phytomass yield was not significantly affected by different N doses. The highest average dry matter yield of phytomass (23.7 t/ha) was, in the experiments lating for 12 years, achieved after harvesting in the autumn at the site Ruzyn\u011B when the dose of nitrogen was 100 kg/ha. The lowest average dry matter yield of phytomass (19.07 t/ha) was achieved at the site Lukavec without N fertilization. Regardless of N fertilization there were over the examined period of years achieved similar average dry matter yield of phytomass at the sites Ruzyn\u011B (19.6 t/ha) and Lukavec (18.24 t/ha). These findings could imply a good adaptability of examined miscanthus clone to different soil-climatic conditions." . . .
