"Recently, simplified methods of soil tillage and crop stand establishment are increasingly often utilized in agricultural practice but depending on soil-climatic conditions of the given site, on agrotechnology level and mechanization facilities of agricultural enterprises or farms. The positive influence on soil structure, decrease of water losses due to lower soil tillage intensity, reduction of unproductive evaporation as a consequence of mulch use, mitigation of movable nitrogen leaching and last but not least, reduction of water erosion effects are the main reasons of spreading of these minimization and conservation technologies. It is generally known that regularly loosened soil is very little resistant against water impact and therefore very susceptible to erosion. Currently, there are known and under research verified lot of alternative methods of soil tillage that evidently reduce water erosion effects on arable lands."@en .
