"The method of doubled haploid production was optimized by means of cultivation of donor plants in air-conditioned chambers, using buds also from older plants, application of the herbicide trifluralin into microspore cultures, subcultivation of embryos on differentiantion and subsequently after cutting of part of cotyledons on regeneration medium, and in vitro vernalization of regenerants. Self-incompatible (SI) lines possessing satisfactory seed quality were obtained after repeated crossing of the initial SI lines characterized by the high erucic acid and glucosinolates content with double zero quality donors and subsequent deriving of doubled haploids. Another DH lines were derived from three F1 hybrids of SI and 00 quality donors.
