"This paper describes the different technical and economical aspects and developing restriction problems of growing and use of biomass for industrial purposes and especially for energetic purposes. Three basis methods of energy obtaining from biomass - 1) direct burning; 2) thermal pyrolysis; 3) aerobic fermentation are described. As energetic crops there are suitable cereals, oil and sugar plants, herbs, grasses and fast growing woods. Two groups of technologies for biomass utilisation are described: so called \u201Cdry\u201D and \u201Cwet\u201D technologies (the moisture less or more than 50 %).
