"Sulfur and sulfate concentrations in leaves of oilseed rape unde field conditions." . "During 3 years, sulfur and sulfate concentrations were studied in expanded young leaves of rape varieties Lirajet and Pronto at diffrent sites. Except S-deficient site, the concentration of total S and sulfates in leaves increased considerably in higher growth stages. A less steep increase in S concentrations in leaves was associated with rather humid growing season. Good yields of rape seed were connected with minimum concentrations of total S 0.5 %, and sulfate S 0.2 % in leaf dry matter at growth stage DC30. The proportion of sulfates in total concventration of S in rape leaves ranges from 30 to 60 % at DC30 and it increased in higher phenophases. At flowering sulfates accounted for 80 % and more at sites where sulfate uptake from the environment was not problematic." . "RIV/00027006:_____/02:00000063" . "0370-663X" . . .
