This equipment uses compressed air similar to a bladder pump, but it is more robust and it allows sampling from greater depths. Anticorrosive steel body and tough construction of new sampler allow use higher pressure of compressed air up to 3 MPa during sampling. The principle of functionality is cyclic movement of the piston in steel sampling chamber. The equipment has compact size and it is applicable to wells with a diameter of 45 mm and above. Two or more samplers can be used for simultaneous sampling of packed multiple test sections in a borehole. This approach saves time and brings economic savings. The device was successfully used for sampling of two isolated sections in boreholes in granitoid rock as well as in cretaceous sediment in a depth of 150 m. Two samplers in combination with inflatable packers were used for the sampling and isolation of two different borehole sections. Chemically different water samples were obtained.
