V t\u00E9to studii jsme stanovovali koncentrace L-glutam\u00E1tu/L-argininu/L-citrulinu, aktivity/exprese synt\u00E1z oxidu dusnat\u00E9ho a hladiny nitrit\u016F/nitr\u00E1t\u016F v autoptick\u00FDch hipokampech. Byla nalezena pravo/lev\u00E1 lateralita v aktivit\u011B endothelov\u00E9 synt\u00E1zy a v hladin\u00E1ch nitrit\u016F/nitr\u00E1t\u016F u kontrol. Zm\u011Bny v lateralit\u011B byly pozorov\u00E1ny u pacient\u016F s Alzheimerovou nemoc\u00ED (v\u00FDrazn\u00E9 zv\u00FD\u0161en\u00ED aktivit konstitutivn\u00EDch synt\u00E1z a exprese indukovan\u00E9ho enzymu nalevo) a se schizofreni\u00ED (zv\u00FD\u0161en\u00ED aktivit v\u0161ech synt\u00E1z zejm\u00E9na vpravo). However, hemispheric differences in nitric oxide mediator system have not yet been evaluated. The hippocampus and planum temporale are highly asymmetrical regions but the degree of their laterality is altered in demented or psychotic people. In the study, L-glutamate/L-arginine/L-citrulline concentrations, nitric oxide synthase activities/expressions and nitrites/nitrates levels were estimated in autoptic hippocampi. Right/left laterality in endothelial synthase activity and in nitrites/nitrates was observed in controls.
