"The translocation of AgNORs (silver stained nucleolar organizers) was detected in leukemic myeloblasts in patients with the chronic phase of CML who were both treated and untreated with the cytostatic therapy at the time of taking samples. The model experiments in vitro on K562 cells demonstrated that this translocation represents one of expressions of the premature aging of myeloblasts without further differentiation and maturation. At this occasion it should be mentioned that these cells originated from granulocytic precursors of a patient with Ph positive CML.
