"Fossil bone remains of nearly thirty skeletons from P\u0159edmost\u00ED near P\u0159erov were discovered by Karel J. Ma\u0161ka and Martin K\u0159\u00ED\u017E already in the end of the 19th century. Their estimated age is 26,000 years. According to our results, the Upper Palaeolithic skulls were significant longer in combination with the lowerer skull. According to Lieberman (2001), the crania of anatomically modern Homo sapiens are uniquely characterized by two general structural autapomorphies: facial retrusion and neurocranial globularity. We found relative greater decrease of the female cranial length connected with an anterior shift of the euryon point, reduction of fhe facial width and elongation of male N-B chord. Both jaws were in strong protrusion in relation to the cranial base, the face thus developed more to the anteriorotation. Sexual dimorphism of Upper Palaeolithic skulls is more evident compared to recent skulls."@en .
