"Soil filters are regarded as one of the alternatives for cleaning or final purification of waste water. The need to eliminate the possibility of penetration of suspended solids from the mechanical pre-treatment is taken for granted, but it is now necessary to define the amount of oxygen for treatment, which is able to supply the filter material (a natural filter material or non-conventional material with defined sorption or filtration properties). The paper presents the results of laboratory measurements to trickle filtration columns, statistical analysis and processing experiment done in Minitab software. Laboratory model is transmitted to the pilot environment of the WWTP, where the measurement is pointed to ORP and pH values measuring. The last part is focused on a mathematical model of filtration columns whose calibration is handled in Hydrus 2D. The final result of the laboratory model is an equation that allows the substitution of selected factors resulting value of the supplied oxygen."@en .
