"In the CR the systematic sampling and assessment of macroinvertebrate assemblages of deep rivers don\u00B4t carry out, samples from these rivers are taken only in littoral zone. The monitoring of surface waters have been proposed methodology for taking and processing samples from unwadeable streams. The aim of this study was to test the sampling method and then determine the species composition of assemblages in the inaccessible parts of the rivers. Samples of macroinvertebrates were taken from six localities from rivers Vltava and Labe, at the each site were taken 10 samples by grab and air-lift sampler. More effective and efficient sampler was air-lift sampler. A higher number of individuals and a higher number of macroinvertebrate taxa were recorded by this sampler. Significantly higher number of individuals and taxa were found in Vltava river this may be caused of bigger anthropogenic load."@en .
