"Health status of young oak stands is influenced by many factors: site, climatic and weather effects as well as factors of biological character, including anthropogenic and antropic influences. Fungi play an important role in such stands. Their species occupy the whole scale from pathogens to very beneficial symbionts. Enquiring of their effects includes general procedures of forest health surveillance (e.g. defoliation), observation of forest ectotrophic stability disturbance (e.g. by monitoring of macromycetes) as well as direct detection of changes caused by pathogens. Evaluation of expansion of mycorrhizal relations by root samples analyses is specific approach, which was developed and improved during long term research of forest stands and is of the high importance of this methodology. Evaluation of recent status of foliophagous insect and its influence to young oak forest stands health is given. Importance of this group of biotic harmful agents was found fully subsidiary. The main economic important species are commented in cambiophagous and xylophagous insects, with detailed description of their bionomy, as well as protection methods in forest practice."@en . . . .
