"Monitoring of natural environment quality has been implemented at the Czech regional station Ko\u0161etice since 1988. The aim of this study is to evaluate the results of air quality and deposition measurements. The results show that concentrations of sulphur compounds in the atmosphere have been steadily declining in rural areas of the Czech Republic in last decade reflecting a drop in emissions. No distinct trend in nitrogen compounds concentrations was observed. Surface ozone remains one of the most serious environmental problems during the nineties. The concentrations reach values that affect both human health and vegetation. Some special measurements of the GAW and EMEP programmes (carbon monoxide, methane, VOCs) were launched during the nineties. The first results of these measurements are presented. Using the measured precipitation data (wet, bulk and throughfall), the deposition fluxes were calculated. Ten-year period shows decreasing deposition of sulphur, hydrogen ions, aluminum and fluorine. There is not considerable trend observed in the deposition of nitrogen." . . "694655" . . "Results of Air Quality and Deposition Monitoring at the Czech Regional station Ko\u0161etice" . .
