To verify these assumptions the correlation method was used for statistical analysis of data from North-Western Scotland and Western and Central Europe. Within the Bohemian Massive the region mostly influenced by North Atlantic Oscillation is the ridge of the Giant Mountains-Jizera Mountains orogeny.
