The composite coatings, which offer specific properties based on the matrix and the dispersed particles, are therefore in the interest nowadays. Composite galvanic coatings represent special type of composite materials, which consist of metallic, galvanically deposited matrix, in which organic or inorganic particles are dispersed. Coatings with zinc matrix and PTFE particles combine the mechanical resistance and corrosion protection properties of zinc coating together with the low friction coefficient and self-lubricating properties of PTFE.
