"The aim of this project is to modify process of fabrication of polypropylene fibers in Krampe CZ company by means of implementation of cold plazma treatment. Polypropylene fibers can be used as a reinforcing matrix in concrete. However the non-polar nature and low surface energy of the PP material does not allow use of PP fibers without surface treatment. Current technology is based on lubrication of fibers.
