"Primary aim of a project is a prototype of a large-aperture deformable mirror for high-power lasers. A bimorph architecture with a composite core and lightweight structure will be used for realization of the DM. For this purpose we will develop suitable technologies for production of flexible composite core, bimorph actuator and reflector. A new technology for subcomponent integration will follow. Part of the prototype development will be a simulation of components and structure supplemented by thorough testing with emphasis on system reliability. A part of the project will be a detailed research of actuation and response of a complicated mirror structure needed for an accurate control of a deformation. Parameters of transformation from simulation will be supplemented by an accurate measurement of system. Next aim of project will be development of a control system and electronic drivers for DM. Part of it will be development of algorithms and programs for deformation control and their optimization."@en . "1"^^ .
