"The aim of submitted project is enlargement of diversity of cultivated crops in CR and recommendation to their suitable utilization. The subject of project will be minor species defined by EPC/GR (hulled wheats, hulless oats and barley, proso millet andtartary buckwheat), legumes (peas, cowpeas, chickpeas) and oil bearing crop (safflower). Individual genera will be investigated according to degree of completion on the participant's workplace. The new genotypes of all species will be evaluated for important agronomical and morphological characteristics. The growing system of crops not grown yet in CR (cowpeas, chickpeas) will be recommended. The main attention for crops with developed growing system will be paid to search of their specific traits utilizable in products attractive for consumers an accompanied effect to health.
