" Epigenomics" . . "This project investigates a new possibility for early detection of NSCLC progression based on methylation analysis. Testing is directed at methylation of specific genes in tumour tissue samples from NSCLC patients acquired during routine bronchoscopy examination. The study will include 150 patients, the methylation changes will subsequently be investigated also in circulating free tumor DNA at 3-month cycles during the therapy. The methylation will be evaluated as a potential biomarker for NSCLC.
