Anatomico-functional arrangement may be important for the arrhythmia initiation and maintenance in some patients. Catheter ablation using radiofrequency linear lesion between the tricuspid annulus and the ostium of vena cava inferior and septal linear lesion connecting the ostia of both venae can eliminate atrial fibrillation in long-term. In addition to the selection of the patients, continuity of the linear lesions is a prerequisite to the successful outcome. The lesion continuity can be evaluated by means of electroanatomical mapping. This ablation procedure is relatively feasible and safe.
