"The aim of this project is experimental and theoretical study of the phase equilibria in systems important for high temperature lead-free soldering, main attention will be given to Sn-Sb-Ni ternary system. The CALPHAD (Calculation of Phase Diagrams) method will be used for the theoretical assessment mentioned system and relevant subsystems. The experimental program will be focused on the equilibrium experiments in solid state after long time of annealing. The aim of these experiments is to reach states close to the thermodynamic equilibrium.
