"The project is focused on the study of photochemical behaviour and determination of photophysical characteristics of the carbon nanotubes (CNT) in solutions and solid state. The CNT containing systems will be irradited by a radiation in a wide range of w, avelengths and intensities. In the EUV/UV region we will use excimer lasers, nitrogen laser, free electron laser a hot dense plasmas generated by focused laser radiation and high-voltage discharges. In the visible region we will rely on 2nd harmonic of N, d:YAG laser, 2nd and 3rd harmonics of iodine laser, Ar+ laser, Ti:S and MOPO. The iodine and Nd lasers will be used for sample irradiation by near infrared radiation. We will determine the quantum yields of CNT's photolysis, photooxygenation, luminescenc, e and triptet state formation. Their values will be compared with that of lower and higher fullerenes.
