"The project is aimed at exploring possibilities of using graphene in THz frequency range as an alternative to traditional metal plasmonics. Specifically we address the following topics: 1. Investigation of the spectral properties of the surface plasmon propagating along the graphene sheet and exploring optical graphene properties arising from tailoring the plasmonic spectra through electrical modification of the charge carrier densities and a Fermi level. 2. Exploring optical graphene properties arising from modification of the charge carrier densities and a Fermi level due to the temperature dependence. 3.Investigation of the spectral and transport properties of the surface plasmon propagating along the structures containing graphene sheet where the SPP the plasmonic spectra where the modification of the charge carrier densities and a Fermi level occurs due to the ac gate voltage."@en .
