"The influence of the size effect on dielectric and ferroelectric properties will be studied in ordinary ferroelectrics (like BaTiO3 nanoparticles coated with a shell of alumina), in incipient ferroelectrics (KTaO3 nanoceramisc and SrTiO3 stressed ultrathin films on DyScO3 substrate) and in relaxor based ferroelectrics (PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3 \u2013 PbTiO3 nanoceramics). Broad-band dielectric spectroscopy, time-domain terahertz spectroscopy, infrared and Raman spectroscopy will be used at temperatures 10 \u2013 950 K for study of dynamics of phase transitions, predominantly the soft mode and central mode behaviour in the samples with nanosized grains and ultrathin films.
