Their suitability as cell positive contrast agents, especially based on gadolinium(III), will be tested (tuning parameters on a molecular level). Combination of simple gadolinium(III) complexes and oxidic nanoparticles as well as their conjugates with dendrimers will be used for formation of the combined contrast agents, that will give both positive and negative contrast. Biological and relaxometric properties of the newly synthesized materials will be tested. The contrast agents will be used to follow a fate of stem cells. An effectiveness of contrast changes during investigations on full-body clinical scanners working at 1.5 T or 3 T will be examined."@en . .
